SPY Trade ideas for 07-23-26

What a gap down! Will SPY bounce off 740 again or break down!

Jul 23, 2026
∙ Paid

Yesterday we planned for that push to 750 and took bull 7480, 7500 bull puts. which paid perfectly into mid day.

I was hoping for a push into 752 to flip short, but that didn’t come. And So be it.

Overall 750 rejected and overnight turned it into a failed breakout over 749 level leading back to 740. We have been ping ponging between these levels for some time now. So the question is which direction do we break range and will it have follow through?

We don’t need to predict, we just need to read the price action at the level I provide and continue our credit selling low effort winning.

Lately I’ve been doing the following:

Premarket establish where we likely wont reach. Sell premium for 0.8-0.60 on open.

After 11: second positioning of credit sells.

After 3:30: start hawking/planning for a Spectre Special

What’s a Spectre Special? A yolo trade that goes 300-1000% in under 30 min.

What is Two Hour Trading?

Two Hour Trading is my system for finding and executing trades while spending less than two hours a day trading. My goal is to earn 100-300% on the capital I risk while waiting for 1000%+ gain trades to set up. Key benefits include:

  • High-quality trades with excellent reward vs. risk

  • Avoiding overtrading and losses from it

  • Trading to win vs. trading not to lose

  • Stacking the deck in your favor

Market Minefield: Guard Your Capital Today

Premarket weakness sets up high-probability reversals at key supports.

Market Context

SPY closed the prior regular session at 747.39. Premarket trading opened lower and closed at 740.49, sitting below the daily pivot at 746.97 and just below the first support at 741.25. Price action shows a clear gap down with limited recovery attempts, creating a bearish bias into the open unless buyers recover the 741.25–743.92 zone.
