Yesterday gave a super win. One I hadn’t planned on to come on in the morning. but happy to get. I wasn’t expecting to see 524 to be tested but wasn’t sure that would break, but it cleanly broke and dropped exactly to the next level down for a 2 level move. That is my whole process! We want 2 level moves. Well, what did that pay yesterday?
I alerted I wanted SPX 5200p for 8. It dipped to 8.50, I alerted members I got in at 9.50. 90 minutes later These hit $100!
I made 2 alerts. This was the first. The second alert got stopped for $2 loss within minutes.
That was it. You don’t need to overtrade, you don’t need to guess are bulls or bears in control. You follow the process/the price action and use the levels. Take profits as levels come.

The on thing i should have done better was recognizing 512.50 was teh day low and planning to flup. By that time, I ws exhaused, and went back to sleep to make every effort to kick this flu.

Education - How to Join a Strong Trend
The process I typically follow for joining a strong trend are as follows:
All day grinder: join on dips to 20ma
Multi-day grinder:
Join either on support test of morning lows/failed breakdown reversal
Join at vwap mid day or end of day
Keep it simple. Don’t chase, wait for support levels for great risk/reward entries!
Education - Systematic Profit Taking
How do I take profits? I keep it relatively simple. Depending on the entry and range to the next levels I typically with take profits 50-100% of my profits at 3-10R and then raise stops to above entry with a goal of letting runners take me to the next level or 2 and to then reload if I believe we are consolidating before the next leg.
I then repeat the same process on the reload.
Trade Ideas - Plan for Fri Apr 11
Stick to process. The process and trade setups I teach works. Rinse and repeat over and over again. There will be losses. Any good system will have them. Being systematic also means the gains will repeat and come again too. If you keep changing your system/process trying in an effort to never lose a trade, you will never get to where you want to go.
Ideas
Still sick but feeling a lot better. But strangely I feel exhausted. Good job body fight that infection. I need to get healthy so I don’t miss hundreds of thousands in profits in this market AND so I can see Shakira Saturday night. The funny thing about trading. I went ahead and bought tickets so I have the option and If I lose it, I lose it. The risk/reward is well worth it!
Overall SPY is coiling and we could see a big move either way. Feels like possible bullish bias. Let’s see if PPI kicks it off today.
