Yesterday I was exhausted took the day off. Apparently only averaging 2.5 hours a night of sleep for last week.

Still not completely rested so will be cautious today. Another reason is that I should have cleared 200k+ using only 20k in capital I didn’t so I was bitter and emotional. When that happens you needed to recognize that emotion and NOT trade.

We initially took 7580 bull puts thinking we would get a bounce, but the deep sell and failed bounce had us shift direction to 7600 bear calls which paid out perfectly!

We took SPX 7600 bear calls yesterday that worked but was a roller coster. we got 1.50 credit down to 0. then spike over 3.50 before going back to 0.

I’m a bit annoyed at myself because Edge Scanner did identify that SPX 7600 pull buts were being secured when we were around 7580. That would have paid very nicely using 7600c. It went from 1.50 to 20.

yesterday neither of the main ideas truly developed, but we did follow process for the two level gap up and vwap break and were able to catch a short. Unfortunately where wasn’t much follow through for our naked puts to pay big.

But that is 1000% OK. Because our 7550 and 7530 bear call paid!

Wow Friday feels like so long ago.

Friday’s High Probability idea played out after lunch. Unfortunately I got chopped a bit during the consolidation. It was so frustrating and I was slow to recognize the idea playing out.

That said the bull puts we took and bear calls went to 0, but my naked directionals kept getting stopped. I was being impatient and wanting a 5-10 bagger.

What did I do? I stopped trading for the day. I recognized I was being emotional about the trades and feeling like it had to do what I want, vs taking advantage of easy money high probability trades.

Back to the idea.. If you waited for it, and then took 7480 after the rejection, entry for 3-4 would have been possible (it dipped as low as 2 into the spike) and then reached 12.

It’s the start of a new week, and we are gapping up, let’s see if SPY falls into one of our patterns and pays us! I think a 5-10x play should develop today.

So at rejection of highs I alerted 7450 bears calls and at bounce off lows 7350 bull puts. That all went to 0 by end of day. Essentially we did an Iron Condor!

As a general I take profit at 0.05-0.30. depending on action and place orders in advance on these credit sells. That process saved me! because 7450 spiked fo over $20 after lunch, but by end of day they went back to 0!

Remember to be process driven!
